How we do it
Framing first
We build a frame so the wrap sheds snow and rain instead of pooling it. A flat wrap is what tears in February.
Heat-shrunk to fit
The film is shrunk tight to the hull and frame so wind can't get under it and work it loose over the winter.
Vented
Vents go in as standard. Air moving under the wrap is what keeps condensation down — a sealed boat is a damp boat.
Access door if you want one
If you'll need to get aboard over the winter, we can install a zippered door so you're not cutting the wrap open.
What it costs
Boats are priced by length, which is the unit boat wrapping is normally quoted in, so the number is easy to check against anything else you're looking at. Add-ons are listed separately and named up front — no surprise line items when the invoice arrives.

Starting rate. Towers, hardtops, oversized beam, difficult access, unusual framing and access doors are quoted on top — text your length and a few photos for a firm number.
Where they're stored side by side and one wrap suits both. If the layout doesn't allow it, we'll quote them separately.

Published figures are starting prices, not flat rates for every job. Size, number of pieces, access and how much framing the shape needs all move the final number — which is why we quote from photos before you commit to anything.
$199 minimum service visit. Most projects are priced above the minimum based on size, materials and access.
Before we arrive
Nothing complicated — we just want the day to go smoothly.
- We need clear, safe access to the item on the day — room to work around it and a way to get our gear to it.
- Items should be ready to wrap: covers and canvas off, loose items removed, and anything fragile taken inside.
- If your boat is at a marina or storage yard, check whether they allow outside vendors — some require an approved-vendor agreement first. Tell us where it's stored and we'll sort out the details.
- Moving heavy equipment, dismantling structures, disconnecting utilities, draining or winterizing, and specialized rigging are not included by default. We're happy to quote any of it as separate work — just mention it when you text.
Common questions
- When should I book?
- Most people wrap between October and December, and the calendar fills from the front. If you know roughly when you're hauling out, text us early and we'll hold a slot.
- Do you come to the marina?
- Yes, where the marina allows outside vendors. Some facilities need an approved-vendor agreement in place first — tell us where the boat is and we'll find out.
- Mast up or mast down on a sailboat?
- We can do either. Mast up takes more framing and more film, so it's priced as an add-on. Text us a photo and we'll tell you what it comes to.
- Will moisture get under the wrap?
- Shrink wrap keeps snow, rain, dirt and UV off the boat, but it isn't a sealed environment and we wouldn't tell you otherwise. Condensation is managed by ventilation, which is why vents are standard on every boat we wrap.
- Do you take the wrap off in the spring?
- Yes. You can book removal and disposal when you book the wrap, or call us in the spring. We'll also remove wrap we didn't install.
